EDFD601 Curriculum Planning and Development (Pakistan)
This unit develops the students’ ability to comprehend curriculum planning and development curriculum implementation and curriculum evaluation processes. This includes critical analysis and reflection on the various cultural systems that influence curriculum planning and implementation. The unit considers particularly the role of teachers in this process as fundamental agents effecting change in educational practices. Integral to the unit, is a critical analysis, evaluation, reflection and discussion of the curriculum documents at national, provincial and local levels and the curriculum development process in Pakistan.
