EFTSL value of units : All 10 cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a cp value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.

Admission requirements

An applicant must also comply with the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy.

To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed the following prerequisites:

  1. Equivalent of an Australian bachelor’s degree in any discipline (the equivalent of an Australian bachelor's degree in a related discipline will be eligible for up to four units credit); OR
  2. A Graduate Certificate in a related discipline.

International applicants need to meet the English Language Proficiency requirements as defined in the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy.

Completion requirements

To qualify for the degree, a student must complete 160 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:

  1. 150 cp from Specified Units (Part A), AND
  2. 10 cp Elective from the Schedule of Postgraduate Unit Offerings from the Peter Faber Business School (Part B).

Exit points

A student who has completed the requirements prescribed for the Graduate Certificate in Finance, the Graduate Diploma in Finance or Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning may exit from the course with the relevant award by arrangement with the Course Coordinator.
