New South Wales

Any two units of English (Standard) (Band 3) or English as an Additional Language (EAL) (Band 4), any 2 units of mathematics (Band 2)

Queensland

English (Units 3 & 4, C); any combination of General Mathematics, Mathematical Methods or Specialist Mathematics (Units 3 & 4, C)

Victoria

Units 3 and 4 – a study score of at least 30 in English (EAL) or 25 in any other English, and a study score of at least 25 in Mathematics (any).

Completion requirements

To qualify for the Bachelor of Biomedical Science degree, a student must complete 240 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:

  1. 180 cp Specified Units List A (Part A);
  2. 20 cp from Core Curriculum units (Part C);
  3. 40 cp from Elective units (Part D) or 1 Minor (Part E).


To qualify for the Bachelor of Biomedical Science degree with a major in Physiological Pharmacology, a student must complete 240 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:

  1. 140 cp Specified Units List B (Part B)
  2. 80 cp from Major Units (Part F)
  3. 20 cp from Core Curriculum Units (Part C)

Progression requirements

Students are required to follow the pattern of unit enrolment set out in the relevant Course Enrolment Guide unless otherwise approved by the Course Coordinator. In all aspects of progress through the course, students will be advised by the Course Coordinator.

Students must undertake a maximum of 10 (ten) x 100cp level units and a minimum of 4 (four) x10cp 300 level units
