Admission requirements

An applicant must also comply with the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy.

International students need to meet the English Language Proficiency requirements as defined in the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy.

To be eligible for admission to the Master of Health Administration, an applicant must have completed either:

  1. a Bachelor degree in a health discipline or equivalent;
  2. the Graduate Certificate in Health Administration; OR
  3. the Graduate Diploma in Health Administration.

Completion requirements

To qualify for the degree, a student must complete 120 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:

a. For Project Stream:

  1. 70 cp from Health Administration Units (Part A);
  2. 30 cp from Project Stream Units (Part B);
  3. 20 cp from Elective Units (Part C).

OR

b. For Research Stream:

  1. 70 cp from Health Administration Units (Part A);
  2. 50 cp from Research Stream Units (Part D)

Exit points

A student who has completed the following requirements from the specialisations in the Schedule of Unit Offerings may exit with the relevant award:

  1. Graduate Certificate in Health Administration: 40 cp from Health Administration Units;
  2. Graduate Diploma in Health Administration: 70 cp from Health Administration Units and one 10 cp Elective Unit or Research Stream Unit.

Progression requirements

Students are required to follow the pattern of unit enrolment set out in the relevant Course Enrolment Guide, unless otherwise approved by the Course Coordinator. In all aspects of progress through the course, students will be advised by the Course Coordinator.
