EFTSL value of units: All 10 cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a cp value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.
1. Admission Requirements
An applicant must also comply with the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy.
International students need to meet the English Language Proficiency requirements as defined in the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy.
To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed the following prerequisites at year 12 level, or equivalent:

- Assumed knowledge: Nil
Queensland
- Prerequisites: English (4, SA)
Victoria
- Prerequisites: Units 3 and 4 - a study score of at least 30 in English (EAL) or 25 in any other English.

2. Completion Requirements
2.1 To qualify for the degree, a student must complete 240 cp consisting of:
- 140 cp from Theology Specified units, including a major comprising 80 cp in either Biblical Studies or Christian Thought, and a minor in the other discipline;
- 20 cp from Core Curriculum Units;
- THCP304 Christian Community Engagement (10 cp);
- 70 cp in Electives chosen from other units listed in:
- Theology or Philosophy Electives, or
- the Schedule of Unit Offerings for the Bachelor of Arts.
In the total of 240 cp, no more than 100 cp may be selected from 100-level units.
Students are required to follow the pattern of unit enrolment set out in the relevant Course Enrolment Guide, unless otherwise approved by the Course Coordinator. In all aspects of progress through the course, students will be advised by the Course Coordinator.
3. Progression within the Course
Unless otherwise approved by the Course Coordinator, a student must have completed at least 40 cp in 100-level units before undertaking 200-level units and 40 cp in 200-level units before undertaking 300-level units.
4. Exit Points
4.1 A student who has completed 40 cp in Philosophy units may exit with the Non-Award Certificate in Philosophy.
4.2 A student who has completed 40 cp in Theology units, including THBS100 Introduction to the Bible and THCT100 What Christians Believe, may exit with the Non-Award Certificate in Theology.
4.3 A student who has completed 80 cp in Philosophy units may exit with the Diploma in Philosophy.
4.4 A student who has completed 80 cp in Theology units, including THBS100 Introduction to the Bible and THCT100 What Christians Believe, may exit with the Diploma in Theology.
