Bachelor of Psychological Science/Bachelor of Laws (Honours)
The Law degree structure and Law unit offerings have been approved by the Victorian Legal Admissions Board and the Legal Profession Admission Board (NSW).
This course is currently accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) and approved by the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA) as a suitable program of study for the purpose of registration as a psychologist. Please note that a minimum six-year sequence of education and training in psychology is required for an individual to become eligible for general registration as a psychologist in Australia.
Students in Sydney undertake their Psychological Science units at the Strathfield campus and their Law units at the North Sydney campus.

1. Admission Requirements
An applicant must also comply with the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy.
To be eligible to apply for admission to the Bachelor (Honours) degree, a student must have completed at least 120 cp of LAWS units from the Bachelor of Laws degree, with a grade point average (GPA) of at least 5.50.
2. Completion Requirements
To qualify for the double degrees, a student must complete 400 cp as follows:
- 160 cp selected in accordance with the requirements for the Bachelor of Psychological Science Degree, consisting of:
- 140 cp from Bachelor of Psychological Science Specified Units;
- 20 cp Core Curriculum Units
- 240 cp selected in accordance with the requirements for the Bachelor of Laws (Honours), consisting of:
- 180 cp from Law Specified Units;
- 10 cp from Law Elective Units;
- 10 cp LAWS450 Legal Research and Methodology;
- 30 cp LAWS451 Honours Thesis;
- 10 cp from Community Legal Engagement: Pro Bono Unit
To qualify for the Honours degree, at least four of the units taken from the Law Specified Units and/or Law Elective Units must be at level 4. To qualify for the degree, a student must also complete at least 80 hours of 0cp pro bono placement after completion of LAWS213 Community Legal Engagement: Pro Bono
3. Progression Requirements
Students normally complete a unit or units at an introductory level (100-level) before undertaking advanced level units (200, 300, 400 level).
