To be eligible to apply for admission to the Honours program, a student must have completed 160 cp from years 1 and 2 of the Bachelor of Speech Pathology pass degree, with a grade point average of at least 5.50 on the ACU seven point scale.
2. Completion Requirements - Honours Degree
To qualify for the Bachelor of Speech Pathology Honours degree a student must complete 320 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:
20 cp from University Core Curriculum Units
30 cp from Inter-professional Units
140 cp from Honours Speech Pathology Theory Units
50 cp from Honours Integration and Practice Units
80 cp from Honours units
3. Progression Requirements
Students are required to follow the pattern of unit enrolment set out in the relevant Course Enrolment Guide, unless otherwise approved by the Course Coordinator.
In all aspects of progress through the course, students will be advised by the Course Coordinator and bound by decisions of the School Committee.
4. Exit Points
A student who has successfully completed 240 cp from Specified units, including Core Curriculum units may exit from the course with following qualification:
UNCC100 Self and Community: Exploring the anatomy of modern society or PHIL102 Theories of Human Nature or PHIL104 Introduction to Ethics (P); UNCC301 Humanity in Catholic History and Culture, UNCC302 Human Dignity in International Context (I)
