To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed the following prerequisites at year 12 level, or equivalent.
Assumed knowledge: Nil.
Prerequisites: English (4, SA).
Prerequisites: Units 3 and 4 – a study score of at least 30 in English (EAL) or at least 25 in English other than EAL.

2. Completion Requirements
To qualify for the double degree, a student must complete 320 cp, consisting of:
220 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings for the Bachelor of Nursing, consisting of:
70 cp from Interdisciplinary Learning Units;
90 cp from Nursing Theory Units;
60 cp from Clinical Nursing Practice Units;
90 cp from Paramedicine units, consisting of:
30 cp from Paramedicine Theory Units
40 cp from Paramedicine Practice Units
20 cp from Paramedicine Theory and Practice Combined Units
10 cp from University Core Curriculum Units.
3. Progression Requirements
Students normally complete a unit or units at an introductory level (100-level) in an approved sequence before undertaking advanced level units (200 or 300-level) in that sequence. Unit prerequisites have been minimised to assist student progression through the program. Prerequisites preclude students from enrolling in units where foundational knowledge is insufficient.
