EFTSL value of units: All 10 cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a cp value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.
1. Admission Requirements
An applicant must also comply with the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy.
To be eligible for admission to the Graduate Certificate in Clinical Nursing, an applicant must have:
- have completed a Bachelor of Nursing degree or equivalent;
- hold current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA); and
- be employed in a substantive position in their chosen specialisation unless approved otherwise by the Course Coordinator.
An applicant must also comply with the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy.
International applicants need to meet the English Language Proficiency requirements as defined in the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy.

2. Completion Requirements
To qualify for the degree, a student must complete 40 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:
- 40 cp from Clinical Nursing units.
Students need to remain employed in the specialty nursing area while studying the x4 clinical nursing units (Graduate Certificate level) unless approved otherwise by the Course Coordinator.
3. Progression Requirements
Students are required to follow the pattern of unit enrolment set out in the relevant Course Enrolment Guide, unless otherwise approved by the Course Coordinator. In all aspects of progress through the course, students will be advised by the Course Coordinator. Schedule of Unit Offerings.
