EFTSL value of units: All 10cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a cp value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.
1. Admission Requirements
An applicant must also comply with the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy.
To be eligible for admission to the Master of Leadership, an applicant must have completed one of the following:
- Bachelor degree in Education, or equivalent; or
- Bachelor degree in an area other than Education and a recognised teaching qualification.
2. Requirements for Completion of the Degree
To qualify for the Master of Leadership degree, a student must complete 120 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings consisting of:
- 30 cp from Specified units;
- At least 20 cp from Leadership units;
- Up to 40 cp from Elective units*;
- 30 cp from Capstone units
* Students may take Electives drawn from the Schedule of Unit Offerings (listed) and/or other units drawn from relevant ACU postgraduate programs; or by cross-institutional study with prior approval of the Course Coordinator. A maximum of 40 cp of Elective units can be at 500-level.
3. Exit Point
A student who has successfully completed 80 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings (including the specified units) may exit with the Graduate Diploma in Leadership. A student who has successfully completed 40 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings (including the specified units) may exit with the Graduate Certificate in Leadership.
