Professor Greg Craven AO, GCSG
The Vice-Chancellor and President is our chief executive officer, represents ACU both nationally and internationally, provides strategic leadership, and oversees the operational management of the University. |
Provost and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) |
Professor Zlatko Skrbis The Provost is responsible for the Academic Portfolio: ensuring academic quality is maintained, overseeing the faculties, and providing the operational delivery of ACU's academic program. |
Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration) |
Doctor Stephen Weller The Chief Operating Officer is responsible for the Corporate Services Portfolio. This portfolio covers a broad range of areas including: properties and facilities, student administration, information technology, and finance. Vice President |
Father Anthony Casamento CSMA The Vice President is responsible for Catholic-related operations of the University. His portfolio includes the Directorate of Identity and Mission, Campus Ministry and ACU Engagement. The Office of the Vice President animates programs and activities that engage, celebrate and support the University community's development in and understanding of our mission, Catholic identity and living traditions. |
Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) |
Professor Wayne McKenna The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) is responsible for implementing ACU’s research strategy, and oversees the Research Portfolio. |
Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education and Innovation) |
Professor Zlatko Skrbis The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education and Innovation) is responsible for the following portfolios: First Peoples and Equity Pathways, Libraries, Learning and Teaching Centre, Office of Student Success, Student Engagement and Services, and Student Strategies. |
Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Coordination) |
Professor Hayden Ramsay The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Coordination), has responsibility for projects aligned to the University strategic priorities as assigned by the Vice-Chancellor. As Professor of Catholic Philosophy the position provides intellectual leadership, particularly in the fields of philosophy and ethics. |
Pro Vice-Chancellor (Global and Education Pathways) |
Mr Chris Riley The Pro Vice-Chancellor (Global and Education Pathways) oversees the team responsible for the intake of international students into ACU courses, including setting policy and managing enrolments. He also oversees the programs for outgoing domestic students studying abroad, and builds relationships with our partner universities across the globe. Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research) |
Professor James McLaren The Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research) assists the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) in implementing the research strategy. He also oversees Higher Degree Research. |
Pro Vice-Chancellor (Engagement) |
Professor Sandra Jones The Pro Vice-Chancellor (Engagement) provides leadership, advice and support for the University's community engagement strategy. The role includes implementing a framework to measure research engagement and impact. |
Associate Vice-Chancellor, Queensland |
Professor Jim Nyland The Associate Vice-Chancellor, Queensland represents the Vice-Chancellor on a local level and deals with important campus issues, including nurturing and building relationships with external stakeholders locally. |

Professor Michelle Campbell The Executive Dean, Faculty of Health Sciences is an academic leadership role. The Faculty of Health Sciences is made up of the School of Allied Health, the School of Behavioural and Health Sciences, and the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Paramedicine.
