EFTSL value of units: All 10 cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a cp value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.

1. Admission Requirements

An applicant must also comply with the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy.

International applicants need to meet the English Language Proficiency requirements as defined in the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy.

To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed the following prerequisites at year 12 level, or equivalent.

New South Wales

  • Assumed knowledge: Nil

Queensland

  • Prerequisites: English (4, SA).

Victoria

  • Prerequisites: Units 3 and 4 – a study score of at least 30 in English (EAL) or 25 in any other English.

2. Completion Requirements

To qualify for the Bachelor of Nursing/Bachelor of Business Administration degree, a student must complete 360 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:

  1. 220 cp from Nursing units:
    1. 60 cp from Interdisciplinary Learning Units;
    2. 100 cp from Nursing Theory Units;
    3. 60 cp from Clinical Nursing Practice Units;
  2. 120 cp from Business Administration Specified Units
  3. 20 cp from University Core Curriculum Units.

3. Progression Requirements

Students normally complete a unit or units at an introductory level (100-level) in an approved sequence before undertaking advanced level units (200 or 300-level). Unit prerequisites have been minimised to assist student progression through the program. Prerequisites preclude students from enrolling in units where foundational knowledge is insufficient.
