1. Admission Requirements
An applicant must also comply with the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy.
International students need to meet the English Language Proficiency requirements as defined in the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy.
To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed the following prerequisites at year 12 level, or equivalent.
New South Wales
- Recommended studies: English (Standard) Band 3; Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE); Mathematics (any) plus one of Biology, Chemistry or Physics.
Queensland
- Prerequisites: English (4, SA)
- Recommended studies: One of Health, Physical Education, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry or Science 21.
Victoria
- Prerequisites: Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 30 in English (EAL) or at least 25 in English other than EAL; and a study score of at least 25 in one of Biology, Chemistry, any Mathematics, Physical Education, Physics or Psychology.
2. Completion Requirements
To qualify for the pass degree, a student must complete:
- 240 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:
- 160 cp from Specified units;
- 40 cp from Elective units;
- 20 cp from Professional Experience;
- 20 cp from University Core Curriculum units;
- 0 cp EXSC206 Professional Experience Preparation.
3. Progression Requirements
Students are required to follow the pattern of unit enrolment set out in the relevant Course Enrolment Guide, unless otherwise approved by the Course Coordinator.
In all aspects of progress through the course, students will be advised by the Course Coordinator.
