An applicant must also comply with the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy.
1.1 To be eligible for admission to the Master of Leadership (Health/Business), an applicant must have completed a Bachelor degree, or equivalent.
1.2 To be eligible for admission to the Master of Leadership (Education), an applicant must have completed a Bachelor degree in Education or a 3 year degree and Graduate Education qualification and experience in Catholic Education.
2. Requirements for Completion of the Degree
2.1 To qualify for the Master of Leadership (Health/Business) degree, a student must complete 120 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings consisting of:
- 40 cp from Foundation units, or
the Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Catholic Culture - 20 cp from Praxis units
- 40 cp from Discipline Elective units1
- 20 cp from Integration units.
2.2 To qualify for the Master of Leadership (Education), a student must complete 120 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings consisting of::
- 40 cp from Foundation units for the Education Specialisation
- 20 cp from Praxis units
- 40 cp from Discipline Elective units
- 20 cp from Integration units
2.3 To qualify for the degree with a named specialisation in Health or Business, a student must complete 40 cp of elective units in the same discipline.
3. Progression within the Course
Students normally complete the foundation units, prior to commencing the interdisciplinary and elective units. The Integration units are the capstone/final units.
4. Exit Point
A student who has successfully completed the requirements prescribed for the Graduate Diploma in Leadership or the Postgraduate Certificate in Leadership (Catholic Education) may exit from the course with that award.
