1. Admission Requirements
An applicant must also comply with the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy.
Alternate entry provisions including an interview, English language testing and written assessment apply to students accepted through the Refugee Education Project.
International students must also meet the English Language Proficiency requirements as defined in the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy.
2. Requirements for Completion of the Diploma:
Total number of credit points: 80 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:
- 20 cp from Core Units;* and
- 60 cp from Arts Electives
*Students who enrol in the Diploma in Liberal Studies after completing an undergraduate degree may apply for an exemption from the Core Units.
3. Progression Requirements
In all aspects of progress through the course, students will be advised by the Course Coordinator and bound by decisions of the School Committee.
4. Exit Point
Students completing the requirements for the Certificate in Liberal Studies may exit with that award.
