1. Admission Requirements
Prior to 1 March 2016, an applicant must also comply with the Admission Rules.
From 1 March 2016, an applicant must also comply with the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy.
To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed the following prerequisites at year 12 level, or equivalent.
New South Wales
Recommended studies: English advanced, personal development, health and physical education (PDHPE) ; mathematics; plus one of biology, chemistry or physics.
Queensland
Prerequisites: English (4, SA)
Recommended studies : One of health, physical education, mathematics, biology, physics, chemistry or science 21.
Victoria
Prerequisites : A study score of at least 30 in English (EAL) or 25 in any other English.
Prior to 1 March 2016, International students need to meet the English Language Proficiency requirements as defined in the Admissions Rules.
From 1 March 2016, International students need to meet the English Language Proficiency requirements as defined in the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy.
2. Completion Requirements
To qualify for the pass degree, a student must complete:
- 120 cp from Core units
- 90 cp drawn from Major/Minor and Elective units
- 10 cp from Industry Experience
- 20 cp from University Core units
- 0 cp EXSC205 Industry Experience Preparation
3. Progression within the Course
Students are required to follow the pattern of unit enrolment set out in the relevant Course Enrolment Guide, unless otherwise approved by the Course Coordinator.
In all aspects of progress through the course, students will be advised by the Course Coordinator.
