* Students will normally be located at the Strathfield Campus, however, some units are undertaken at the North Sydney Campus. Students will not be required to travel between campuses on the same day.
EFTSL value of units: All 10 cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a cp value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.1. Admission Requirements

To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed the following prerequisites at year 12 level, or equivalent.
New South Wales
Recommended studies: English advanced, personal development, health and physical education (PDHPE), mathematics plus one of biology, chemistry or physics at year 12 level.
Queensland
Prerequisites: English (4, SA)
Recommended studies: One of health, physical education, mathematics biology, physics, chemistry or science 21 at year 12 level.
Victoria
Prerequisites: Units 3 and 4 – a study score of at least 30 in English (EAL) or 25 in any other English, and a study score of at least 25 in one of mathematics (any), biology, chemistry, outdoor and environmental studies, psychology, physical education, health or physics at year 12 level.
Prior to 1 March 2016, International students need to meet the English Language Proficiency requirements as defined in the Admissions Rules.
From 1 March 2016, International students need to meet the English Language Proficiency requirements as defined in the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy.
Completion Requirements
To qualify for the Bachelor of Exercise Science/Bachelor of Public Health degree, a student must complete:
- 170 cp from Exercise Science units, consisting of:
- 100cp from Core Exercise Science units;
- 70cp from Elective units (which will normally include at least 20cp from an Exercise Science sequence)
- 130 cp from Core Public Health Units;
- 20 cp from University Core Units.
3. Progression within the Course
Students are required to follow the pattern of unit enrolment set out in the relevant Course Enrolment Guide, unless otherwise approved by the Course Coordinator.
In all aspects of progress through the course, students will be advised by the Course Coordinator.
