EFTSL value of units: All 10 cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a cp value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.
1. Admission Requirements
An applicant must also comply with the Admission Rules.
To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed the following prerequisites:
- Bachelor degree in a related discipline; or
- Bachelor degree in a different discipline and evidence of substantial industry experience; or
- Graduate Certificate in Information Technology.
2. Completion Requirements
2.1 To qualify for the degree, a student must complete 160 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:
- 100 cp from Core Units;
- 40 cp from Professional Pathway units (choose two (2) out of three (3) majors)
- 20 cp Information Systems Project units,
2.2 Students must choose two (2) Professional Pathway units and complete 20 cp of Information Systems Project Units.
2.3 An applicant who has completed the Graduate Certificate in Information Technology or Graduate Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent may be granted advanced standing.
3. Exit Point
A student who has completed the requirements prescribed for the Graduate Diploma in Information Technology or Graduate Certificate in Information Technology may exit from the course with the relevant award.
