EFTSL value of units: All 10 cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a cp value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.
1. Admission Requirements
An applicant must also comply with the Admission Rules.
To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed the following prerequisites:
- Bachelor degree in a related discipline and evidence of suitable industry experience; or
- Bachelor degree in a different discipline and evidence of substantial industry experience; or
- In special circumstances, applicants who do not meet any of the above requirements but who have a sound and sufficient basis for application can apply directly to the Course Coordinator. Applicants must provide a portfolio demonstrating that their knowledge, experience, and skills are such that they are likely to succeed in the program.
2. Completion Requirement
2.1 To qualify for the degree, a student must complete 120 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings:
- 30 cp from Core Units
- 80 cp from Specified Units
- 10 cp from Elective units
2.2 In all aspects of progress through the course, students will be advised by the Course Coordinator and bound by decisions of the School Committee.
Students enrolled in the MBA (Health) and its constituent Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma may enrol in MBA or MBA (Exec) units, but students enrolled in the Standard MBA mode will not automatically be permitted entry to MBA (Health) classes. Permission to participate in MBA (Health) classes will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, provided individuals meet the entry requirements of the MBA (Health).
3. Exit Points
A student who has completed the requirements prescribed for the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration (Health) or the Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (Health) may exit from the course with the relevant award by arrangement with the relevant Course Coordinator.
