1. Admission Requirements
An applicant must also comply with the Admission Rules.
To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed the following prerequisites:
- A three year degree in a relevant discipline; or
- Higher certificates of a suitable level; or
- At least three years’ of relevant professional experience.1
2. Requirement for Completion of the Graduate Certificate
To qualify for the Graduate Certificate, a student must complete 40 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings.2
3. Progression within the Course
In all aspects of progress through the course, students will be advised by the Course Coordinator and bound by decisions of the School Committee.
Qualifiers cannot articulate to the Graduate Diploma of Occupational Health Safety and Environmental Management until they have completed all units in the Schedule of Unit Offerings of the Graduate Certificate.

1An applicant who enrols with higher certificates or professional experience is called a Qualifier, and may be required to complete additional units before articulating through the courses.
2Advanced Standing will be awarded for the Graduate Certificate if evidence is provided of successful completion of the ACU Bachelor of Commerce (Occupational Health, Safety and Environment) or equivalent course. .
