EFTSL value of units: All 10 cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a cp value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.
1. Admission Requirements
An applicant must also comply with the Admission Rules.
To be eligible for admission to the Master of Clinical Nursing an applicant must:
1. Have completed either:
- a Bachelor of Nursing;
- the Graduate Certificate in Clinical Nursing; or
- the Graduate Diploma in Clinical Nursing.
2. Hold current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Authority (AHPRA).
International Applicants must also meet the English Language Proficiency Requirements as detailed in the Admissions Rules.
2. Completion Requirements
To qualify for the degree, a student must complete 120 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:
- 40 cp from Part A Clinical Nursing units;
- 40 cp from Part B Project Stream or Part B Research Stream; and
- (c) 40 cp from Part C Project Stream or Part C Research Stream.
3. Exit Points
A student who has completed the following requirements from the specialisations in the Schedule of Unit Offerings may exit with the relevant award:
- Graduate Certificate in Clinical Nursing:40 cp from Part A Clinical Nursing units;
- Graduate Diploma in Clinical Nursing: 80 cp from Part A Clinical Nursing units and Part B Project Stream or Part B Research Stream.
