Minimum duration: 3 years full-time or equivalent part-time.
Course available at: Sydney (Strathfield), NSW
EFTSL value of units: All 10 cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a cp value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.
1. Admission Requirements
An applicant must also comply with the Admission Rules.
To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed the following prerequisites:
- Completion of Higher School Certificate
or - Appropriate experience working in community-based organisations which provide a service to people with a disability
2. Requirements for Completion of the Degree 1, 2
2.1 To qualify for the degree, a student must complete 240 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:
- 160 cp from Discipline Studies;
- 60 cp from one of the Professional Practice Specialisations;
- 20 cp from the University Core Units.
2.2 A student who has completed the Associate Degree in Inclusive Education and Disability Studies may be granted advanced standing.
3. Exit Point
A student who has completed the requirements prescribed for the Associate Degree in Inclusive Education and Disability Studies may exit with that award.

1 Requirements for working with vulnerable people: All students enrolled must obtain a national police check before they may enter a workplace.
2 Requirements for working with children: All students enrolled must have the appropriate approvals before they may enter a classroom. These are: Blue Card (Qld), Working with Vulnerable People (ACT) or Working with Children Check (NSW and Vic). International students must bring police check documentation from their own countries. Australian students who have lived in another country for 12 months or more must provide a police check from that country for that period.
