Students enrolled in a Commonwealth supported place are required by the Australian Government to pay student contributions towards the cost of their higher education. The relevant rates for 2014 are as follows:
In 2014, the following categories of students will be liable for the SSAF:
All Commonwealth supported students
Fee-paying students enrolled in an award course
SSAF charges and due dates
$140 per half year ($280 annually)
$105 per half year ($210 annually)
Students enrolled in Master of Business Administration (Executive)
$45 per term where enrolment exists (maximum charge of $270 annually)
The SSAF is calculated on each half-year enrolment.
All unit enrolments with a census date between 1 January and 30 June will be charged in Semester 1.
All unit enrolments with census date between 1 July and 31 December will be charged in Semester 2.
In the case of Master of Business Administration (Executive) enrolment, the SSAF will be charged in each study period.
