1. Admission Requirements
An applicant must also comply with the Admission Rules.
To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed the following prerequisites:

For 2014 and 2015 only - Recommended: English (any)
Victoria
Prerequisites: Bachelor Degree in any discipline undertaken in the English language. Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 30 in English (ESL) or 25 in English other than ESL.
Applicants whose first language is not English must have either:
- successfully completed at least two full-time years of study in secondary or higher education where the medium of study was English; or
- demonstrated their English proficiency, as set out below.
International English Language Testing System (IELTS)
Overall Score: 7.0
Individual score of 6.5 in all tests
Test of English as a Foreign Language - Academic (TOEFL)
Internet based total of 100: min 25 writing, speaking, reading and listening
2. Completion Requirements
To qualify for the Bachelor of Laws pass degree, a student must complete 240 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:
- 230 cp from Law Core Units;
- 10 cp from Law Elective Units; and
- Three 0cp Pro Bono/Legal Professional Experience Units – one unit in the second and subsequent years of the degree.
Students normally complete a unit or units at introductory level (100-level) in an approved sequence before undertaking advanced level units (200 or 300 or 400-level) in that sequence.
In all aspects of progress through the course, students will be advised by the Course Coordinator and bound by decisions of the School Committee.
