EFTSL value of units: All 10 cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a cp value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.
1. Admission Requirements
An applicant must also comply with the Admission Rules.
To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed the following prerequisites:
- Bachelor degree in any discipline; or
- Postgraduate award of no less than four units, or
- Relevant professional and/or managerial experience of no less than two years full-time or equivalent part-time.
2. Completion Requirements
2.1 To qualify for the degree, a student must complete 240 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:
- 90 cp from the Business Administration Core Units
- 80 cp from Occupational Health Safety and Environmental Management Units
- 70 cp of Elective Units from the Schedule of Unit Offerings in any FLB postgraduate award.
2.2 An applicant may be granted advanced standing towards the Master of Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Management/Master of Business Administration under the following conditions:
- Applicants who have completed the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration or Graduate Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent may be granted advanced standing.
- Applicants who have completed the Graduate Certificate in Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Management or Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Management or equivalent may be granted advanced standing.
3. Exit Points
A student who has completed the requirements prescribed for the Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Management or Graduate Certificate in Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Management may exit from the course with the relevant award.
