EFTSL value of units: All 10 cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a cp value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.
1. Admission Requirements
An applicant must also comply with the Admission Rules.
To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed the following prerequisites:
- Bachelor degree or higher level AQF qualification in any discipline; and
- At least 3 years managerial and/or professional experience; or
- Completion of the requirements for the award of the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration (Executive) or its equivalent.
2. Completion Requirements
2.1 To qualify for the degree, a student must complete 120 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:
- 100 cp from core units in the Schedule of Unit Offerings; and
- 20 cp from the elective units in the Schedule of Unit Offerings.
2.2 An applicant who has completed the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration (Exec) or Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (Exec) or equivalent may be granted advanced standing. Units on the course schedule that have been completed within the standard MBA course are given equal standing when a student gains entry to the MBA (Exec) course.
2.3 Students enrolled in the MBA (Exec) and its constituent Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma may enrol in MBA units provided in the standard delivery mode, but students enrolled in the Standard MBA mode will not automatically be permitted entry to MBA (Exec) classes. Permission to participate in MBA (Exec) classes will be granted on a case-by-case basis.
3. Exit Points
A student who has completed the requirements prescribed for the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration (Executive) or the Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (Executive) may exit from the course with the relevant award.
