EFTSL value of units: All 10cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a cp value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.
1. Admission Requirements
An applicant must also comply with the Admission Rules.
To be eligible for admission to the Master of Leadership, an applicant must have completed a Bachelor degree, or equivalent.
2. Requirements for Completion of the Degree 2.1 To qualify for the degree, a student must complete 120cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings:
- 40cp from Foundation units, or
the Postgraduate Certificate in Leadership (Catholic Education), or
the Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Catholic Culture - 20cp from Praxis units
- 40cp from Discipline Elective units1
- 20cp from Integration units.
2.2 To qualify for the degree with a named specialisation in Education, a student must either:
- complete 40cp of elective units in the Education discipline, or
- have completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Leadership (Catholic Education)
2.3 To qualify for the degree with a named specialisation in Health, Business, or Human Services, a student must complete 40cp of elective units in the same discipline.
3. Progression within the Course
Students normally complete the foundation units, prior to commencing the interdisciplinary and elective units. The Integration units are the capstone/final units.
4. Exit Point
A student who has successfully completed the requirements prescribed for the Graduate Diploma in Leadership or the Postgraduate Certificate in Leadership (Catholic Education) may exit from the course with that award.

3 Option only for students with a 4 year Bachelor degree in Education or Postgraduate Education qualification and experience in Catholic Education enrolled in the Master of Leadership (Education)
4 Education students without prior, formal theological studies must be complete THCT603 Theology for Leadership in the Church’s Mission as one of the Foundation units.
5 Students may also choose electives from the Master of Theological Studies, Master of Religious Education, Master of Educational Leadership, Master of Educational System Leadership in consultation with the Course Coordinator.
