EFTSL value of units: All 10 cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a cp value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.

1. Admission Requirements

An applicant must also comply with the Admission Rules.

To be eligible for admission to the course, an Indigneous Australian applicant must have completed the following prerequisites:

An undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline and be able to demonstrate leadership capacity through engagement in community or community agencies in paid or voluntary work for a minimum period of 3 years (plus a relevant 3 year undergraduate degree). Applicants should include a Curriculum Vitae plus a letter of support from their organisation.

2. Requirements for Completion of the Graduate Diploma

To qualify for the Graduate Diploma, a student must complete 80 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of: 

1. 60 cp from Core units;
2. 20 cp from Electives.

3. Exit point

A student who has completed the requirements prescribed for the Graduate Certificate in Indigenous Leadership and Engagement may exit from the course with that award.
