1. Admission Requirements
An applicant must also comply with the Admission Rules.
To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed the following prerequisites at year 12, or equivalent:
Queensland
Prerequisites: English (4, SA).
Victoria
Prerequisites: Units 3 and 4 – a study score of at least 30 in English (ESL) or 25 in any other English.
2. Definitions
"Major": 80 cp in prescribed units in one discipline or approved interdisciplinary area, normally including at least 10 cp at introductory level, at least 40 cp at 200 level and at least 20 cp from 300 level.
"Minor": 40 cp in prescribed units in one discipline or approved interdisciplinary area, normally including at least 10 cp at introductory level and at least 20 cp at advanced level.
3. Requirements for Completion of the Pass Degree
3.1 To qualify for the pass degree, a student must complete:
- 240 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:
- 160 cp from:
- 2 Majors in Drama, Digital Journalism, Literature, Media*; Music and/or Visual Arts or
- 1 Major and 2 Minors in Communication, Digital Journalism, Drama, Literature, Media*; Music and/or Visual Arts;
- 20 cp from HUMA111 Arts Advantage and HUMA247 Learning in the Community1
- 20 cp from University Core units;
- at least 10 cp from Program Core units2
- not more than 40 cp from Electives3.
- 160 cp from:
