EFTSL value of units: All 10 cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a cp value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.
1. Admission Requirements
An applicant must also comply with the Admission Rules.
To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed the following prerequisites at year 12, or equivalent:

Assumed knowledge: Mathematics (other than General Mathematics) for those wishing to study Mathematics units.
2. Requirements for Completion of the Degree
2.1 To qualify for the degree, a student must complete:
- 240 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:
- 80 cp from a major in Economics;
- 80 cp from one of the listed Arts majors;
- 30 cp from ECON204 Development Economics, HUMA111 Arts Advantage and HUMA247 Learning in the Community2
- 20 cp from University Core Units
- 30 cp from Arts electives3;
2.2 Unless otherwise specified, students must complete a unit or units at an introductory level (100-level) in an approved sequence before undertaking advanced level units (200 or 300-level) in that sequence. Any additional prerequisites for individual units are shown in brackets after the unit in the Schedule of Unit Offerings.
