EFTSL value of units: All 10 cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a cp value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.
1. Admission Requirements
An applicant must also comply with the Admission Rules.
To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed the following prerequisites:
- a Bachelor degree in education;
- a teaching qualification; or
- a Bachelor degree (or approved equivalent) in an area other than education.
2. Requirements for Completion of the Graduate Certificate
To qualify for the Graduate Certificate, a student must complete 40 cp consisting of:
- 40 cp from any 500 level units from other Education Courses
OR
-
- at least 20 cp from any 500 level unit from other Education Courses; and
- up to 20 cp from equivalent units and modules offered by educational institutions/systems, professional associations and other professional development providers as approved by the Course Coordinator.
3. Requirements for Completion of the Graduate Certificate with a named specialisation
To qualify for the Graduate Certificate with a named specialisation, a student must complete 40 cp consisting of:
- 40 cp from one Education specialisation from the Schedule of Unit Offerings.
OR

- at least 20 cp from one Education specialisation from the Schedule of Unit Offerings; and
- up to 20 cp from equivalent specialisation units and modules offered by educational institutions/systems, professional associations and other professional development providers as approved by the Course Coordinator.
