Minimum duration: 3 years full-time or equivalent part-time.

EFSTL value of units: All 10 cp units in this course have an EFSTL value of 0.125. Units with acp value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.

1. Admission Requirements

An applicant must also comply with the Admission Rules.
To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed the following prerequisites at year 12 level, or equivalent:

Victoria
Prerequisites: Units 3 and 4 a study score of at least 30 in English (ESL) or 25 in any other English.

2. Definitions

Major: 80 cp in prescribed units in one discipline or approved interdisciplinary area, normally including at least 10 cp at introductory level and at least 60 cp at advanced level.

Minor: 40 cp in prescribed units in one discipline or approved interdisciplinary area, normally including at least 10 cp at introductory level and at least 20 cp at advanced level.

3. Completion Requirements

To qualify for the degree, a student must complete:

1. 240 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:
   1. 80 cp from a Major in Media;
   2. 80 cp from a Major in Communication;
   3. 20 cp from University Core units;
   4. 20 cp from Program Core units;
   5. 10 cp from Internship;
   6. 30 cp from Electives;
      
      and
      
      
2. HUMA247 Learning in the Community.
