EFTSL value of units: All 10 cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125.

1. Admission Requirements1

To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed:

  1. a Bachelor of Theology or equivalent with honours at a minimum of level IIB; or
    1. a Master of Theological Studies with a minimum grade of Credit in THEL623 Theology Project C and THEL619 Introduction to Theological and Philosophical Research (or equivalent); and
    2. a specialisation in one of the theological disciplines, or philosophy as it relates to theology.

2. Requirements for Completion of the Degree

To qualify for the degree, a student must complete 80 cp, consisting of:

  1. 80 cp from Thesis A; or
    1. 60 cp from Thesis B; and
    2. 20 cp from units (other than Religious Education units) listed in the Schedule of Unit Offerings for the Master of Theological Studies.
