EFTSL value of units: All 10 cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a cp value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.

1. Admission Requirements1

To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed the following prerequisites:

  1. a Bachelor degree in education;
  2. a teaching qualification; or
  3. a Bachelor degree (or approved equivalent) in an area other than education.

2. Requirements for Completion of the Graduate Certificate

To qualify for the Graduate Certificate, a student must complete 40 cp consisting of:

  1. 40 cp from any 500 level units from other Education Courses

    OR

  2.  
    1. at least 20 cp from any 500 level unit from other Education Courses; and
    2. up to 20 cp from equivalent units and modules offered by educational institutions/systems, professional associations and other professional development providers as approved by the Course Coordinator.

3. Requirements for Completion of the Graduate Certificate with a named specialisation

To qualify for the Graduate Certificate with a named specialisation, a student must complete 40 cp consisting of:

  1. 40 cp from one Education specialisation from the Schedule of Unit Offerings.

    OR

     
    1. at least 20 cp from one Education specialisation from the Schedule of Unit Offerings; and
    2. up to 20 cp from equivalent specialisation units and modules offered by educational institutions/systems, professional associations and other professional development providers as approved by the Course Coordinator.
