EFTSL value of units: All 10 cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a cp value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.
1. Admission Requirements1
To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed the following prerequisites:
- A three year degree in a relevant discipline; or,
- Higher certificates of a suitable level; or,
- At least three years’ of relevant professional experience.2
2. Requirement for Completion of the Graduate Certificate
To qualify for the Graduate Certificate, a student must complete 40 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings.3
3. Progression within the Course
In all aspects of progress through the course, students will be advised by the Course Coordinator and bound by decisions of the School Committee.
Qualifiers cannot articulate to the Graduate Diploma of Occupational Health Safety and Environmental Management until they have completed all units in the Schedule of Unit Offerings of the Graduate Certificate.

3Advanced Standing will be awarded for the Graduate Certificate if evidence is provided of successful completion of the ACU Bachelor of Commerce (Occupational Health, Safety and Environment) or equivalent course. .
