EFTSL value of units: All 10 cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a cp value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.
1. Admission Requirements1
To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have satisfied the following prerequisites:
- a Bachelor degree with substantial studies in a appropriate field2; or
- an Advanced Diploma in an area relevant to welfare or community services;
- eligibility for membership of a relevant professional body;
- relevant work experience and at least two supporting professional references
and
- a satisfactory interview demonstrating suitability to undertake the course.
2. Requirements for Completion of the Graduate Diploma
To qualify for the Graduate Diploma, a student must complete:
- 60 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings; and
- Two Supervised Practicum units
3. Exit point
A student who has completed the following requirements may exit with the Graduate Certificate in Counselling (Child and Adolescent):
- 40 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings;
