EFTSL value of units: All 10 cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a cp value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.

1. Admission Requirements1

To be eligible for admission to the Master of Health Science (Clinical Practice), an applicant must:

  1. have completed a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent; and
  2. be eligible for registration as a nurse or endorsed midwife in the country of initial qualification.

To be eligible for admission to the Master of Health Science (Clinical Education/Health Administration), an applicant must have completed a Bachelor degree in a health discipline or equivalent.

2. Requirements for Completion of the Degree

To qualify for the degree, a student must complete 80 cp from one of the specialisations in the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:

  1. 40 cp from Part A; and
  2. 40 cp from Part B.

3. Exit Points

A student who has completed the following requirements from the specialisations in the Schedule of Unit Offerings may exit with the relevant award:

  1. Graduate Certificate in Clinical Education: 40 cp from Clinical Education units from Part A;
  2. Graduate Certificate in Clinical Practice: 40 cp from Clinical Practice units from Part A;
  3. Graduate Certificate in Health Administration: 40 cp from Health Administration units from Part A.
