EFTSL value of units: All 10 cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a cp value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.

1. Admission Requirements1

To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed the following prerequisites:

  1. Senior Secondary Certificate of Education or equivalent; or
  2. appropriate VET Certificate III or IV.

Applicants may also be required to attend for interview.

2. Requirements for Completion of the Associate Degree

To qualify for the Associate Degree, a student must complete 160 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:

  1. 70 cp from Introductory Units; and
  2. 90 cp from Advanced Units.

3. Exit Points

3.1 The Advanced Diploma in Business Administration (Indigenous Studies), Diploma in Business Administration (Indigenous Studies) and Certificate in Business Administration (Indigenous Studies) are offered only as exit points from the Associate Degree.

3.2 A student who has completed the following requirements may exit from the course with the Advanced Diploma in Business Administration (Indigenous Studies):

  1. 120 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:
    1. at least 50 cp from Advanced Units, including ETHN219 Post-Contact Indigenous History.
3.3 A student who has completed the following requirements may exit from the course with the Diploma in Business Administration (Indigenous Studies):
  1. 80 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, including ETHN219 Post-Contact Indigenous History.

3.4 A student who has completed the following requirements may exit from the course with the Certificate in Business Administration (Indigenous Studies):

  1. 40 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, including ETHN109 Indigenous Cultures within Contemporary Australian Society
