EFTSL value of units: All 10 cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a cp value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.

1. Admission Requirements – Honours Degree1

To be eligible to apply for admission to the honours degree course, a student must have completed, within the last five years, a Bachelor degree including (a) an accredited three year sequence in psychology; (b) at least a credit average across all units of the pass degree; (c) distinction level or above in at least 4 second and third year psychology units; and (d) at least a pass in the prerequisites for units to be undertaken in the honours degree.

2. Requirements for Completion of the Honours Degree

To qualify for the honours degree a student must, in addition to satisfying the requirements of the pass degree, complete 80 cp from the Schedule of Honours Units, consisting of:

  1. 70 cp from Core Units;
  2. 10 cp from Electives.
