1. Admission Requirements1
To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have satisfied the following prerequisites –
- a Bachelor with substantial studies in an appropriate field2;
or -
- an Advanced Diploma in an area relevant to welfare or community services;
- eligibility for membership of a relevant professional body;
- relevant work experience and at least two supporting professional references;
- a satisfactory interview demonstrating suitability to undertake the course.
2. Requirements for Completion of the Graduate Diploma
To qualify for the Graduate Diploma, a student must complete –
- 70 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings; and
- Supervised Practicum unit
3. Exit point
A student who has completed the following requirements may exit with the Graduate Certificate in Counselling –
- 40 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings;
