EFTSL value of units: All 10 cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a cp value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.

1. Admission Requirements1

To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have satisfied the following prerequisites –

  1. a Bachelor with substantial foundational studies in a related field2; and
  2. relevant work experience.

2. Requirements for Completion of the Graduate Diploma

To qualify for the Graduate Diploma, a student must complete 80 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings.

  1. 60 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings; and
  2. Two Supervised Practicum units

3. Exit point

A student who has completed the following requirements may exit with the Graduate Certificate in Counselling (Child and Adolescent)-

  1. 40 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings;
