ADFX111 Professional Experience Early Childhood 1
This unit orients the early childhood preservice teacher/carer to the profession by emphasising professional interaction, familiarisation and guided observation for children aged 0-2 and centres and staff working in them. It offers opportunities to develop an awareness of the needs of children and to promote an understanding of child development and well being. The unit will provide preservice early childhood and primary educators with twenty days in depth experience observing, documenting, planning, implementing and evaluating play and learning experiences, strategies, resources and environments for teaching and learning with children 0-2.
