Graduate Diploma in Applied Exercise Science (Exercise Prescription)

Minimum duration: 1 year full-time or equivalent part-time.

EFTSL value of units: All 10 cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a cp value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.

1. Admission Requirements1

To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed a Bachelor of Exercise Science or equivalent and be eligible for Australian Association for Exercise and Sports Science membership.

2. Requirements for Completion of the Graduate Diploma

To qualify for the Graduate Diploma, a student must complete:

  1. 80 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:
    1. 20 cp from Professional Units;
    2. 40 cp from Discipline Units;
    3. 20 cp from Clinical Units;

    and

  2. 360 hours of additional supervised Clinical Experience.
