Master of Clinical Nursing for Nurse Practitioners

Minimum duration: 2 years part-time.

Course available at: Brisbane, Queensland*
*Offered only in Queensland in 2009 (subject to approval by the Queensland Nursing Council).

EFTSL value of units: All 10 cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a cp value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.

1. Requirements for Completion of the Degree

To qualify for the degree, a student must complete 80 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:

  1. 40 cp from core Theory Units; and
  2. 40 cp from core Practice Units.

The core Practice Units will be based in the student’s own area of clinical practice, (ie the field in which they intend to practice as a Nurse Practitioners).

- Drug Prescribing for Nurse Practitioners: Part 4, Complications.
