EFTSL value of units: All 10 cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a cp value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.
1. Requirements for Completion of the Degree
- To qualify for the degree, a student must complete 80 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:
- 30 cp from Core units sequence (i);
- 50 cp from other units.
- To qualify for the Master of Education degree with a named specialisation, a student must complete 80 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:
- 20 cp from Core unit sequences (ii) or (iii); study must relate to the specialisation selected under paragraph (c);
- at least 10 cp from Core unit sequence (i) excluding units already taken;
- at least 20 cp from Education Specialisation units;
- up to 30 cp from postgraduate Electives, which may include up to 20 cp from units offered by another Faculty.
- A student who has completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Education may be granted advanced standing.
2. Exit Point
A student who has completed the requirements prescribed for the Postgraduate Certificate in Education may exit with that award.
