Bachelor of Education (Fourth Year Upgrade)

EFTSL value of units: All 10 cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a cp value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.
1. Requirements for Completion of the Degree
To qualify for the degree, a student must complete the following:
(1) For students who have completed a three-year pre-service course of teacher education, upgrading to the Bachelor of Education (Primary)
80 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:
- 10 cp from Core units;
- 70 cp from Part A or Part B of Schedule of Unit Offerings.
(2) For students who have completed a three-year pre-service course of teacher education, upgrading to the Bachelor of Education (Secondary)
80 cp from Part B of the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:
- 20 cp from Core units;
- 20 cp from Discipline Study electives;
- 20 cp from Education electives;
- 20 cp from other Electives.
(3) For students who have completed a two-year pre-service course of teacher education
120 cp from Part A or Part B of the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:
- 20 cp from Core units;
- 100 cp from Electives, normally including 20 cp from Education Studies units.
