To qualify for the Graduate Diploma, a student must complete:

Professional Experience consisting of a 50 day practicum. |

39This course is available only to international students.
40An approved bachelor degree or equivalent diploma, containing the prerequisites studies to meet the eligibility requirements for the selected teaching method(s). Applicants who do not have a pass in English (any) in Australia, may fulfil the English requirement with an IELTS (Academic) Test score of 7.0 in any individual band.
41To be eligible to teach in Catholic schools, applicants must include relevant Theology units in their undergraduate degree or enrol concurrently in the Graduate Certificate in Religious Education.
42In NSW the Department of Education and Training requires the undergraduate degree to contain either one full academic year in four nominated areas or two full academic years of study in one area and one full academic year in two other nominated areas. The nominated areas are: Mathematics, Science and Technology, English, Personal Development, Health and Physical Education, Human Society and its Environment, Creative and Practical Arts, Languages other than English, Information Technology, Psychology, and Education Studies.
