The choir must rehearse under the direction of the student for at least 2 hours per week over 2 semesters, or equivalent.

The choral-training practicum provides experience in choral direction of a choir external to the University, and integrates the skills acquired in previous Choral Conducting units and in the Campus Choir.

Continuing membership of and satisfactory participation in the activities of the Campus Choir over a period of two semesters provides additional experience in ensemble and skills, and exposure to further repertoire. Activities include weekly rehearsals, and at least one major performance each semester, as well as occasional liturgies or performances at University functions.
