Notes

(1) Unless otherwise stated, for undergraduate courses the prerequisite requirement is completion of the required studies at year 12 level, or equivalent. Applicants for special entry may also be considered on the basis of demonstrated equivalent knowledge, skills and/or competencies; an interview may be required (see Admission Rule 9).

(2) A year 12 exit rating of at least Sound Achievement (SA) after 4 semesters of study or equivalent.

(5) For registration as a primary teacher, the NSW Department of Education and Training requires the undergraduate degree to contain either one full academic year of study in four of the areas below or two full academic years of study in one area and one full academic year of study in two other areas listed: (a) Mathematics, (b) Science and technology, (c) English, (d) Personal development, health and physical education, (e) Human society and its environment, (f) Creative and practical arts, (g) Languages other than English, Information technology, Psychology, and (h) Education studies.

(6) This course is specifically designed for, and is only open to, Australian Indigenous people.

(7) The University will consider admitting a limited number of students who have outstanding sporting or appropriate recreational/vocational performance but do not meet normal entry requirements. Such applicants should complete an Elite Athlete Application form, available at www.acu.edu.au/forms.cfm or from Student Centres.

(8) Eligibility for nurse registration within Australia is an accepted alternative entry qualification.

(9) Students must have a current accredited CPR Certificate prior to undertaking clinical practice. Appropriate immunisation is also required.

(10) VTAC Extra Requirements: Non-Year 12 applicants wishing to be considered for admission under “Mature Age” entry should complete a SEAS Category 1 application form and VTAC Pi form. Victorian Applicants Only.
