EFTSL value of units: All 10 cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a cp value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.
1. ADMISSION AS A CANDIDATE FOR THE GRADUATE CERTIFICATE
To gain entry to the Graduate Certificate a person must apply for admission and be offered a place in the course[1]. Candidates must:
(a) have completed:
(i) a Bachelor degree in Arts, Science or Commerce;
(ii) the equivalent of 2 years of substantial study in the area in which students will undertake curricular and method studies;
and
(b) demonstrate competence in English[2], [3].
2. REQUIREMENTS FOR COMPLETION OF THE GRADUATE CERTIFICATE
To qualify for the Graduate Certificate, a student must complete 140 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:
(a) 60 cp from Professional Studies;
(b) 60 cp from Curriculum Studies, including
(i) 20 cp from Core units; and
(ii) 40 cp from Electives;
(c) 20 cp from Professional Practice.
